Installing the Chart

To install the chart with the release name focalboard

helm install focalboard k8s-at-home/focalboard

Uninstalling the Chart

To uninstall the focalboard deployment

helm uninstall focalboard

The command removes all the Kubernetes components associated with the chart including persistent volumes and deletes the release.

Configuration

Read through the values.yaml file. It has several commented out suggested values. Other values may be used from the values.yaml from the common library.

Specify each parameter using the --set key=value[,key=value] argument to helm install.

helm install focalboard \
  --set env.TZ="America/New York" \
    k8s-at-home/focalboard

Alternatively, a YAML file that specifies the values for the above parameters can be provided while installing the chart.

helm install focalboard k8s-at-home/focalboard -f values.yaml

Custom configuration

By default Kubernetes will create several environment variables called service links (see here for more information).

Focalboard can be configured with environment variables, so when you deploy this Helm release with a name of focalboard, these service links will conflict with the application.

In order to prevent this, you can disable the creation of these service links by setting enableServiceLinks: false in your `values.yaml.
